Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role based in Newport for a Qualified Conveyancer / Property Lawyer.

The role involves managing a caseload of residential and commercial conveyancing matters from instruction to completion, including drafting and reviewing contracts, conducting title checks, and handling searches and enquiries.

The successful candidate will liaise regularly with clients, estate agents, lenders, and other legal professionals to progress transactions and resolve issues efficiently.

Daily tasks include preparing and reviewing legal documentation, managing exchange and completion processes, maintaining accurate file records, and ensuring compliance with regulatory and firm standards.

The role also includes providing clear, practical advice to clients, supporting business development where appropriate, and contributing to continuous improvement of conveyancing processes.

Qualifications

  • Strong expertise in residential and/or commercial conveyancing, including managing property transactions from instruction to completion.
