About the role:

As a Production Controller, you'll be responsible for coordinating and scheduling all production activities to ensure efficient, timely, and cost-effective manufacturing. You'll manage build plans, maintain accurate scheduling data in SAP, coordinate external inspections, and organise outbound logistics to ensure finished units reach customers on time.

What does this role involve day to day?

  • Develop, maintain, and communicate daily and weekly production plans in line with demand and capacity.
  • Schedule and monitor build activities to support on-time delivery of generator units.
  • Update and maintain production dates and work orders in SAP, ensuring data accuracy at all times.
  • Coordinate external inspection dates with third-party inspectors and internal teams.
  • Arrange outbound logistics for finished goods, ensuring timely and efficient dispatch.
  • Work closely with materials planning, procurement, operations, and engineering to resolve schedule-impacting issues.
  • Track production progress, adjust plans as required, and communicate changes to stakeholders.
  • Analyse production performance and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
