The Opportunity – Warranty Claims Specialist
We are seeking a Warranty Claims Specialist to join our busy team. The role covers the vetting of warranty claims submitted by our global dealer network. It is a challenging role to maintain work in progress and process claims as per our stated commitments. Further there are dealings with business units to raise and understand issues so that claims are dealt with on a fair basis. This is a key role within the relationship between the dealer, customer and manufacturer.
Responsibilities
- Verifying the accuracy and compliance of warranty claims against company policies and procedures
- Adjudicating the source of defect, whether that be operations, supplier or design
- Handling multiple tasks whilst maintaining attention to detail
- Communication, written and verbal, with various internal and external stakeholders
- Working as part of a product-based team to support our dealer network and drive product improvement
- Additional tasks to support improvement of claim submission quality, e.g., dealer training and audits
Qualifications
- PC literate, knowledge of the SAP system is preferred
- General technical knowledge of some JCB product ranges or a similar technical field, sound engineering knowledge is preferred
- Previous experience of a warranty, customer service or quality role
- Resilient team player with strong administrative skills
- Determined to face challenges that the role may present and keen to learn and develop
