As a Maintenance Engineer, you'll work with cutting-edge technology to keep our manufacturing operations running at peak performance. Some of our machinery is so specialised that your expertise may even be called upon internationally, offering exciting opportunities to travel as part of a global team. That means you'll have access to excellent training and development opportunities, with a clear path to progress into more senior roles. You have an electrical bias and experience working with live equipment. You've completed an Electrical Engineering Apprenticeship and hold an HNC qualification (or equivalent experience in a live maintenance environment).We're particularly looking for engineers with knowledge in the following areasAutomated systems and equipment (Shotblasts, paint plants, overhead conveyors, assembly lines)Electrical and schematic drawingsLow voltage fault findingCNC boards, wiring, and control panelsPLC control systems (Siemens, Allen Bradley)PLC data handling and backupsSafe working with single/three-phase and low voltage (12/24v) systemsAC/DC motors and inverter controlElectrical safety circuits and components (power supplies, drives, transformers)Hydraulic and pneumatic systems and schematicsWhat happens next?
