As UK Marketing Manager within JCB Marketing, you\’ll play a pivotal role in shaping and executing the UK Sales communications strategy in alignment with the UK Sales Business Plan and product plans for the UK and Ireland. This role is central to supporting the UK Dealer network, helping them develop and implement effective local marketing initiatives. You’ll work closely with the UK Sales team and cross-functional departments within WWM to deliver impactful marketing campaigns. Reporting to the Head of Customer First and supported by the Marcoms unit, you\’ll be accountable to the UK Sales Director for the successful planning and execution of marketing programmes that drive brand visibility, customer engagement, and sales performance.
What does this role involve day to day?
- Develop the UK Sales communications strategy aligned with the UK Sales Business Plan and Business Unit product plans for the UK/Ireland market.
- Support the UK Dealer network in creating and Liaise daily with the UK Sales team and WWM support functions to plan and implement marketing campaigns.
- Report to the Head of Customer First and be supported by the Marcoms support unit.
- Be accountable to the UK Sales Director for the successful planning and implementation of marketing programmes.
- Input communications strategy and proposals into product plans for UK/Ireland.
- Collaborate weekly with the UK Sales team to generate ideas and marketing plans that drive sales and revenue.
- Develop an annual UK Sales marketing plan to support the UK Business Plan.
- Work with CRM support in WWM to implement pilot campaigns.
- Create a database plan to support communications strategies.
- Develop media plans for cost-effective targeting.
- Initiate and publish the monthly Newsletter and Quarterly Dealer Leaflets.
- Plan and execute UK trade and industry events.
- Coordinate UK Sales event needs with the EU team for major events.
- Provide account handling services for JCB Finance and JCB Insurance.
- Plan and manage the annual UK Sales marketing budget within the WWM budget.
