The Opportunity - Travel Administrator

About the role

Providing key administrative support within the Travel Office, you’ll play a vital role in ensuring smooth, efficient and compliant travel arrangements for colleagues across the business. You’ll act as a trusted point of contact, delivering a high‑quality service while maintaining strong relationships with internal stakeholders and external providers.

Responsibilities

  • Act as an ambassador for JCB and the Travel Office
  • Organise travel requests including flights, rail, hotels and car hire
  • Handle and track visa applications, second passports and passport renewals
  • Apply travel policies and procedures consistently and fairly
  • Liaise with travel providers and internal departments
  • Handle incoming calls, messages and general enquiries
  • Ensure GDPR compliance across all filing systems (paper and electronic)
  • Raise purchase orders via SAP & Ariba and manage cost centre recharges
  • Support collaboration with the Aviation Department and wider teams
  • Identify opportunities to improve processes and enhance service delivery

Qualifications

  • Proven administrative experience in a fast‑paced environment
  • Strong organisational skills and ability to manage multiple priorities
  • Highly detail‑oriented with a strong focus on accuracy and compliance
  • Confident in using systems and Microsoft Office to produce reports and analyse data
  • Strong communicator with excellent written and verbal skills
  • Customer‑focused with a passion for continuous improvement
  • Proactive, flexible and a strong team player
  • Comfortable working in an agile and sometimes reactive environment
  • Demonstrate integrity and professionalism in everything you do
