An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Territory Manager in JCB UK Sales. This role carries responsibility for our Access product range. The individual will bring well‑rounded commercial understanding and a customer‑first attitude. The role requires you to demonstrate credibility when communicating at all levels within JCB, JCB dealers and our customers’ business. In‑depth product knowledge is desirable; the ability to quickly assimilate knowledge and communicate effectively is essential.
Responsibilities
- Sales Management – Setting of SMART product targets and reporting & measuring through Salesforce.
- Product Management – Work alongside internal product and supply teams to deliver monthly retail targets.
- Business Development – Identify market opportunities for key products and implement sales initiatives to deliver growth.
- Relationship Management – Proven in developing key relationships with key customers, dealer sales teams, and internal JCB personnel such as UK Sales and Marketing.
- Problem Solving – Identify potential issues that may affect future sales and oversee the implementation of an effective solution.
- New product implementation – Support new product introduction into the market and supporting business case development for future product opportunities.
- New sector growth – Grow sales revenue and market share in new sectors for JCB.
Qualifications
- Perfect blend of sales management, commercial experience and product background.
- Experience selling to end users directly or indirectly via a dedicated dealer network, demonstrating ability to handle commercial negotiations and delivering monthly sales forecasts.
- Highly self‑motivated with a confident manner, able to communicate at all levels throughout the business.
