The Opportunity:
Duties focus on the SAP Production Planning and Quality solutions in place in JCB to:
- Resolve SAP queries through help desk tickets
- Support and training of SAP key users
- Drive continuous improvements through SAP (delivering changes, mini projects and enhancements)
- Work within the SAP project team, delivering testing, training and data migration
- Expand business use of SAP to the benefit of the JCB business
- Organise and conduct Internal audits / health checks with SAP business units
- Be involved in business process developments (incl. mapping, fit-gap analysis)
This will be suited to you if:
- You’re experienced in the use of SAP, ideally in supporting other users with an emphasis in operations e.g. Production, Materials, Man Eng or Quality
- You can demonstrate a broad and detailed knowledge of end-to-end business processes for Production Planning / Quality in a manufacturing environment
- You have the ability to translate business requirements into a deliverable SAP solution
- You’re able to complete business process and functional development projects to a high standard, including writing functional specifications, testing developments, delivering training and go-live support
- Be customer focused and build client relationships
- You’ve excellent analytical skills
- You have experience of a multinational business and system landscape
