We’re looking for a proactive and detail‑oriented Production Planner to join JCB Power Systems. This role plays a critical part in ensuring efficient production flow by managing customer orders, coordinating build plans, and utilising SAP systems to support operational success. You’ll work within a fast‑paced manufacturing environment, ensuring that production schedules and material availability align with business demands.

Responsibilities

  • Develop, manage, and maintain daily, weekly, and monthly production schedules
  • Coordinate customer order control to ensure accurate and timely delivery
  • Plan production using both finite and infinite capacity planning methods
  • Create and release work orders in line with production requirements
  • Manage material requirements and inventory levels to support uninterrupted production
  • Monitor capacity constraints and adjust plans accordingly
  • Work closely with cross‑functional teams including supply chain, manufacturing, and logistics
  • Track performance metrics and drive continuous improvement initiatives
  • Utilise SAP systems to support planning, reporting, and data accuracy

Requirements

  • Degree (or equivalent) in Supply Chain Management, Logistics & Operations, Business Management, or a related discipline
  • Proven experience in production planning, scheduling, or materials planning within a manufacturing environment
  • Confidence in developing and managing detailed production schedules
  • Experience using ERP systems, ideally SAP
  • Highly organised, analytical, and able to manage multiple priorities
  • Collaborative and able to communicate effectively across teams
  • Continuous improvement mindset and a drive to optimise processes
