As an OEM Powertrain Sales Manager – EAME & APAC at JCB Power Systems, you’ll play a pivotal role in managing and growing key customer accounts across diverse global markets. This position focuses on driving sales performance, strengthening long‑term customer relationships, and identifying new business opportunities across JCB’s powertrain portfolio, including engines, axles, and transmissions. You’ll act as a key ambassador for JCB, representing the brand at industry events while supporting strategic planning and sales development initiatives.

What does this role involve day to day?

  • Managing distributor relationships and key OEM accounts, setting clear KPIs and ensuring accurate forecasting and order management
  • Delivering against revenue, volume, profitability, and qualitative targets
  • Identifying and pursuing new business opportunities across assigned regions
  • Acting as the voice of the customer, driving initiatives to enhance customer satisfaction and long‑term value
  • Conducting market and competitor analysis to inform sales strategies and go‑to‑market plans
  • Developing a deep understanding of customer requirements to support product development and continuous improvement
  • Creating and implementing pricing strategies in collaboration with key internal stakeholders
  • Delivering training to channel partners and customers, supporting both sales and technical capability development
  • Representing JCB at trade shows, exhibitions, and partner events
  • Supporting annual budgeting and strategic planning, providing regional insights to internal teams
  • Continuously developing your own knowledge while also contributing to the growth and development of others through coaching and mentoring

This will be suited to you if...

  • You have a degree (or equivalent experience) in sales, business, engineering, or a related discipline
  • You bring extensive sales experience within powertrain, engines, transmissions, axles, or related equipment
  • You're a confident communicator, with strong skills in prospecting, negotiation, stakeholder management, and presentation at all organisational levels
  • You're fluent in English, with additional languages such as Spanish or Portuguese being advantageous
  • You're comfortable with global travel (up to 30%)
  • You're highly proficient in Excel, PowerPoint, and CRM systems such as Salesforce
  • You possess strong commercial awareness and financial acumen
  • You're proactive, market‑aware, and motivated by building lasting customer relationships and driving business growth
