This is a critical role responsible for ensuring the accuracy, governance, and integrity of data flowing into JCB’s core systems, including SAP S/4HANA (JCB Sales) and JRP (Sales & Manufacturing), while leading a high performing team of data professionals. You’ll partner closely with IT, business functions, and project teams to drive data excellence, support system transitions, and continually improve master data processes. • Master Data Process Ownership: Own and control master data processes feeding into S/4HANA (JCB Sales). Lead the review, design, and implementation of data processes for JRP across Sales and Manufacturing. Ensure consistency, accuracy, and compliance of master data across systems and business units.
  • Operational Excellence: Coordinate and oversee the ManageEngine process for data related ticket management. Prioritise and triage master data tickets, ensuring timely and high quality resolution. Act as escalation point for complex data issues and technical challenges.
  • Performance & Reporting: Define, track, and report on MDM KPIs, OKRs, and operational metrics throughout the year. Provide insights and recommendations to senior leadership to enhance data governance.
  • Technical & Cross Functional Engagement: Troubleshoot and resolve technical data problems impacting business or system performance. Support the creation of Engage IT submissions for data related requests, enhancements, or projects. Serve as the MDM representative on cross functional projects, ensuring data requirements and impacts are fully understood.
