Digital Product Owner

Overview

Digital Product Owner role at JCB. This position is responsible for the delivery and operational wellbeing of our new eCommerce capabilities for JCB Service and Salesforce capabilities for Sales and Marketing, while supporting marketing initiatives.

This is a critical IT role, acting as the face of IT to business teams and engaging with business units. You will define multi-year product roadmaps, translate requirements into the product backlog, and prioritise new features. You will work with third parties to ensure quality, SLA adherence, and delivery against contracts.

What this role involves day to day

• Manage third-party relationships to ensure contracted services are delivered and provide value to JCB
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with Service, Sales and Marketing, and JCB IT leadership
• Capture business requirements for new projects, develop high-level solutions, and contribute to business cases
• Maintain clear delivery priorities from IT
• Ensure initiatives are set up for success and aligned with corporate strategy
• Stay up to date with latest eCommerce, marketplace and payment platforms with experience of global delivery

What you’ll need

• Deep understanding of eCommerce technologies and Salesforce capabilities and their deployment; know how to maximise performance
• Experience with both waterfall and agile methodologies
• Experience managing third-party performance, delivery, and budgets
• Business analysis skills including customer journeys, process flows, use cases, etc.
• Ability to lead others and build relationships
• Strategic thinking and strong communication skills
• Negotiation and problem-solving skills
• Focus on business value and outcomes
