You’ll lead small to medium‑sized projects from concept to launch, designing fabricated structures and collaborating with suppliers to develop efficient hydraulic and electrical systems. What Does This Role Involve Day‑to‑Day?
- Engineering ownership of small to medium‑sized projects, from initial product brief through to launch.
- Designing and developing fabricated structures, focusing on material selection, manufacturing processes, and FEA understanding.
- Collaborating with suppliers to develop hydraulic and electrical systems that are efficient, robust, and cost‑effective.
- Ensuring designs align with JCB standards and meet all relevant legislative requirements.
- Communicating regularly with stakeholders, participating in project reviews, and delivering presentations.
