Overview of the role: Reporting to the Business Head - Excavators, and with responsibility for driving growth of our large excavator product range, you’ll be a long-term strategy leader for our business. Your pivotal role will see you working together with our Marketing team, Product Team and Commercial Analyst to enable sales growth even beyond our ambitious five-year plan.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute strategic plans to drive revenue growth and market share expansion for large excavator products.
  • Foster a culture of innovation, quality and continuous improvement within the division.
  • Collaborate with cross functional teams to ensure alignment and integration of division goals with overall business objectives.
  • Provide leadership, guidance, and mentorship to the divisional team to maximise performance and development opportunities.
  • Stay informed about industry developments, regulatory changes, and customer preferences to anticipate market dynamics and adjust strategies accordingly.
  • Lead pricing and positioning strategies to optimise product portfolio performance and enhance competitiveness in the market.

About you: We’re looking for a high-level Sales or Marketing professional with significant experience of driving teams to deliver results within the construction equipment industry. You might even have an engineering and dealer relationship management background, too. What’s certain is that you’ll be a proven strategist of the highest calibre who’s able to identify opportunities, understand the product range and business model, and drive delivery through positive influence and the highest level of organisation.

Experience:

  • Proven track record of success in a senior leadership role within the construction equipment industry, with specific experience in large excavators highly desirable.
  • Strong business acumen with demonstrated ability to drive revenue growth and profitability.
  • Exceptional leadership and communication skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate teams.
