About the role
The Senior Controls & Integration Engineer provides technical leadership for machine control system integration, testing and validation activities.
The role is responsible for ensuring robust machine behaviour through systematic verification, fault diagnosis and control system optimisation, while mentoring engineers and driving best practice in machine development and testing.
What does this role involve day to day?
- Lead machine integration and validation activities across programmes.
- Define test strategies, test cases and verification plans.
- Diagnose complex cross-functional machine issues involving software, electrical and hydraulic systems
- Lead root cause analysis and corrective action activities.
- Drive system verification against requirements and customer expectations
- Support control strategy development and model-based design activities.
- Coach engineers in machine testing, diagnostics and systems engineering principles.
- Work closely with system architects and software teams to resolve integration challenges.

- You have experience developing or supporting control algorithms using MATLAB/Simulink.
- You have experience defining test strategies, test plans and verification activities.
- You have the ability to lead technical investigations and drive root cause resolution across multiple engineering disciplines.
