The Opportunity - Aftersales Product Support Graduate
Start Date - September 2026, typically for 24 months

Minimum Entry Criteria
- You need to be near to, or have completed, an appropriate bachelor’s or master’s degree within an engineering discipline due to the nature of the role requiring engineering knowledge based around our products to support our customers.
- You must also be on track to achieve a 2:1 or higher.
- Unfortunately, JCB is unable to offer visa sponsorship or immigration support for its Early Careers Schemes, either now or in the future. This includes individuals currently on sponsored visas.

What does a Product Support Graduate scheme involve day to day?
You’ll be engaged in the Aftersales business, collaborating with a diverse range of colleagues, including Field Service Managers who interact with a global dealer network to support JCB products, as well as Product Engineering departments that impact the design of both current production models and new machines under development. This role offers comprehensive oversight and influence throughout the entire product lifecycle, with an emphasis on understanding, preventing, and resolving defects. You’ll participate in projects aimed at enhancing your technical expertise regarding JCB products and broadening your familiarity with our business systems and infrastructure that underpin our machines and customer support. Additionally, you’ll have the opportunity to operate on a global scale, gaining valuable insights into our business practices and customer support strategies.
What could I be doing?
- Field Service Management – Lead improvements in field operations by supporting dealer service departments to meet customer requirements
- Warranty Management – Oversee product warranties and maintain standards for customer satisfaction
- Connected Technologies Support and Management – Manage connected machinery, facilitate the integration of products into digital systems, and provide remote technical support to the global dealer network
- Customer Quality Management – Gather feedback from the field, analyse warranty data, and utilise insights from connected machines
- Technical Training – Develop expertise in products and design both digital and physical training courses to enhance the skills of the global dealer network, preparing them for new machine launches and optimising JCB Uptime.

Once you’ve fully completed your online assessment, we’ll review it and provide you with an update within a few weeks. If you’ve been progressed, you’ll be sent an invite to attend one of our in-person Assessment Centres. In-person Assessment Centres will take place from January to April 2026 (we’ll send you all the details you need). Following your Assessment Centre, whether you’ve been successful or not, our promise to you is that you’ll receive a call with feedback. If successful, congratulations! We’ll now take you through the onboarding process, which will include a familiarisation day. Welcome to JCB – our Early Careers cohorts ordinarily start in early September.
