About the role:
The JCB Golf & Country Club, is constructed on a 240-acre site sat next to the multi- national engineering and construction giant JCB. Set in rolling Staffordshire countryside and boasting a 7308-yard par 72 championship golf course, the course was designed to not only host our corporate members and guests, but to include an annual professional championship. For 2025 we are proud to announce we will host the LIV tour event as their sole event to be held on U.K soil.
Due to an expansion to member and guest services provided for the upcoming season, a rare opportunity has become available to join our Golf Operations Team here at JCB Golf & Country Club. Upon golfers’ arrival to the property our golf operations team are the first face our golfers interact with and as the face of the business we are searching for enthusiastic, hardworking, and presentable individuals with a golfing background to work alongside our current team to provide outstanding member and guest services leaving memorable experiences along the way.
What does this role involve day to day?
•Welcome and host members and guests.
•Manage the practice facilities.
•Buggy Fleet Management
•Being an integral part of delivering annual professional championship.
•Use of software’s to assist with the operation such as Golf Genius.
•To complete all H&S training and inductions.
This will be suited to you if…
• You\’ve worked previously in the golf industry (desirable but not essential).
•Your attitude and approach are always fresh; no matter how many times an issue has been presented to you, to your guest it’s the first time
• You take great pride in all that you do, you know your contribution is critical for our guests; you\’re constantly looking for opportunities to enhance the guests experience.
•You\’re presentable, punctual, well organised and a team player.
• You\’re a highly motivated and possess an immense sense of pride in your work; you\’re passionate about delivering the high standards for our guests in line with the Country Clubs brand.
•You have a positive “can do” attitude to solving problems in a professional and courteous manner
• You have knowledge of Golf, the etiquette, and various formats.
• You\’re flexible; flexibility is crucial and must work 5 days out of 7 including weekends
