We are partnering exclusively with Majestic Wine Group to appoint a Commercial Finance Lead – Retail Operations & Logistics .
Reporting into the Finance Director, you'll partner closely with the Store Operations Director , Supply Chain Director and their leadership teams, helping to improve performance across Majestic's retail estate and nationwide distribution network.
This isn't a traditional reporting role. It's a genuinely commercial finance position where you'll work alongside senior operational leaders, providing insight, challenge and strategic support that drives efficiency, profitability and better business decisions across the Group.
You'll be involved in:
- Partnering Retail Operations and Supply Chain leadership
- Improving Distribution Centre performance and cost efficiency
- Supporting business cases for new store openings
- Analysing store profitability and identifying opportunities for improvement
- Leading budgeting and forecasting
- Providing commercial insight that drives operational decisions
We're looking for someone who is ideally:
- ACA, ACCA or CIMA qualified
- Experience within Retail, FMCG, Logistics or Supply Chain
- Strong commercial finance and business partnering skills
- Someone who enjoys working closely with operational stakeholders
- A naturally curious finance professional who enjoys solving commercial problems
