Following a period of significant investment and transformation, the business is entering an exciting new chapter and is looking to strengthen its commercial finance team with the appointment of a Senior Commercial Finance Business Partner. This is far more than a budgeting and reporting role. You’ll become the trusted finance partner to the Operations and Supply Chain leadership teams, providing the commercial insight, challenge and strategic support that helps drive better decision-making across logistics, warehousing and the wider operational function. The Opportunity
Reporting to the Commercial Finance Director, you'll work closely with senior operational stakeholders to improve performance, identify opportunities and support the continued evolution of the business. Key responsibilities will include:
- Business partnering the Operations Director and senior Supply Chain leadership team
- Providing commercial insight that influences operational decision-making
- Identifying opportunities to improve cost-to-serve, efficiency and profitability
- Leading budgeting, forecasting and strategic planning across Operations and Logistics
- Building financial business cases to support operational investment and continuous improvement
- Developing insightful reporting and dashboards using ERP and Power BI
- Supporting working capital, inventory management and operational performance
- Challenging, influencing and supporting senior stakeholders to drive better commercial outcomes
About You
You'll be ACA, ACCA or CIMA qualified with strong commercial finance experience gained within FMCG, wholesale, retail, logistics, manufacturing or another fast-paced operational environment. You're someone who enjoys partnering senior stakeholders, influencing decisions and turning financial information into clear, commercially focused recommendations. Most importantly, you'll be naturally curious, proactive and comfortable providing constructive challenge to improve business performance.
