FP&A Analyst | Private Equity-Backed Business

Are you a recently qualified ACA looking to make your move into industry?
I'm partnering with a fast-growing, private equity-backed UK business to recruit an FP&A Analyst into its Group Finance team.
This is a fantastic opportunity for someone coming from a Big 4 background who wants to move beyond traditional accounting and develop their career in financial planning, modelling and strategic finance.
Working directly with the Head of Finance & Strategy, and closely with the CFO, you'll gain exposure to senior leadership, private equity investors and the commercial decisions shaping the future of the business.
What you'll be doing:
- Building and maintaining integrated financial models, including the Group's five-year plan
- Supporting budgeting, forecasting and financial performance analysis
- Preparing financial information and reporting for the Board, investors and lenders
- Developing scenario models and business cases to support strategic decisions
- Supporting debt modelling, covenant reporting and cash flow analysis
- Working on value creation initiatives, identifying opportunities to improve profitability and performance
- Gaining exposure to strategic projects and future investment activity
What we're looking for:
- ACA qualified with approximately 1–3 years' post-qualification experience
- Strong financial modelling and Excel skillsA good understanding of financial statements and commercial drivers
- Someone analytical, curious and comfortable challenging the numbers
- An ambitious individual who wants to develop a career in FP&A and strategic finance
