ABOUT OUR BUSINESS:

  • Picking and packing of orders for deliveries;
  • Following necessary policies, practices and procedures;
  • Keeping stock up to date;
  • Stock control, stock takes and cycle counts;
  • Preparing overseas shipments;
  • Ensuring overnight carriers are away on time to meet their deadlines;
  • Off loading large containers and incoming deliveries;
  • Carrying out inspections of incoming orders for quality issues;
  • Keeping work area clean and tidy;
  • Maintaining a high level of health and safety;
  • Carrying out any other ad hoc duties as instructed by line management.

SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:

  • Ability to prioritise and work to deadlines;
  • Good problem solving and troubleshooting skills;
  • Adaptable and flexible approach to working hours;
  • Experience with fabric/roll handling and manual lifting;
  • Positive and can-do attitude;
  • Good command of English speaking, writing, and reading;
  • Both numeracy and literacy skills at a good level.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS OR EQUIVALENT EXPERIENCE:

Minimum of two years warehouse experience.
