ABOUT OUR BUSINESS:
- Picking and packing of orders for deliveries;
- Following necessary policies, practices and procedures;
- Keeping stock up to date;
- Stock control, stock takes and cycle counts;
- Preparing overseas shipments;
- Ensuring overnight carriers are away on time to meet their deadlines;
- Off loading large containers and incoming deliveries;
- Carrying out inspections of incoming orders for quality issues;
- Keeping work area clean and tidy;
- Maintaining a high level of health and safety;
- Carrying out any other ad hoc duties as instructed by line management.
SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:
- Ability to prioritise and work to deadlines;
- Good problem solving and troubleshooting skills;
- Adaptable and flexible approach to working hours;
- Experience with fabric/roll handling and manual lifting;
- Positive and can-do attitude;
- Good command of English speaking, writing, and reading;
- Both numeracy and literacy skills at a good level.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS OR EQUIVALENT EXPERIENCE:
Minimum of two years warehouse experience.
