Small, well established, independent company. We are a friendly team providing domiciliary care to individuals with learning disabilities, mental health issues, and the elderly.
Hybrid role, Care / Support Worker. Travel time paid at National Minimum Wage between calls. Mileage paid at 45p per mile. £12.80 per hour. Enhancement on Christmas and New Year. Full time and part time available. Long stays for Support Worker; 1-14 hours.
Responsibilities:- Provide personal care and support to individuals in their homes, following care plans and support from senior colleagues.
- Assist with daily activities such as bathing, dressing, and meal preparation.
- Cover all kinds of support, from housework to budgeting.
- Drive clients to appointments or outings as needed.
- Communicate effectively with clients, their families, and healthcare professionals.
- Valid driver's licence & own vehicle.
- Ability to provide compassionate care.
- Strong communication skills in English.
- Basic literacy skills for documentation and communication.
- Experience in care preferred but not essential.
- Must be reliable, patient, and happy to both work alone and in a team.
- Experience preferred but not essential as full, paid training is provided.
