Proseal UK Ltd designs and manufactures high quality tray sealing and conveying systems for the food industry. Having been established for 25 years, demand for the Proseal product is growing, and we are responsible for developing many plastic-based alternatives for preserving the life of and carrying food safely.
Shift Pattern/Working Hours: Monday to Friday, with a 30 minutes unpaid lunch break each day and two paid 15 minutes breaks per day. A total of 40 hours per week.
Main Responsibilities:
- Ensure assembly and build quality is of the highest possible standard.
- Ensure machinery is fully PDI’d and tested prior to delivery.
- Attend site for machine commissioning and breakdowns.
- Be self-disciplined, proactive, and hard working.
- Exhibit a high degree of interpersonal and communication skills.
- Work to deadlines and delivery dates.
- Ensure production instructions and quality standards are met/exceeded.
- Escalate any build anomalies to relevant persons.
- On-site commissioning and customer training.
Experience:
- Responsible for the mechanical assembly of all sub and main assemblies.
- Ability to read and understand engineering drawings and pneumatic circuits.
- Manage and keep electronic parts lists accurate.
- Carry out mechanical surveys, repairs, and servicing of Proseal equipment.
- General engineering, marking out, drilling, and tapping.
- Carry out work on-site or off-site as requested and agreed.
Qualification:
- Time served with C&G or modern apprenticeship.
