What You’ll Be Doing

  • Perform scheduled service, diagnostics, and repairs on commercial gas systems (CDGA1/CIGA1)
  • Respond to breakdowns, identifying faults quickly and implementing effective solutions
  • Commission new gas fired systems in food processing environments
  • Complete service documentation, safety checks, and compliance reports
  • Communicate clearly with customers about findings, solutions, and preventive maintenance
  • Collaborate with internal teams and contractors to ensure seamless service delivery
  • Promote and maintain a strong safety-first culture aligned with JBT Marel’s zero-accident policy

What Kind of Person Are You

You’re a practical, hands‑on engineer who thrives on autonomy and accountability. Safety is second nature to you, and you take pride in delivering high-quality technical work.

  • CDGA1 and/or CIGA1 Gas Safe certification (essential)
  • Proven experience servicing or commissioning commercial gas systems
  • Strong troubleshooting skills and a customer-focused mindset
  • Comfortable working independently in the field
  • Full UK driving licence
  • Willingness to travel across the UK and Ireland with overnight stays as well as occasional international travel
  • Domestic Gas Safe Candidates with relevant experience will be considered
