As a Commercial Gas Safe Field Service Engineer, you'll play a critical role in maintaining, servicing, and repairing gas fired industrial food processing equipment at customer sites across the UK and Ireland. You’ll ensure gas systems operate safely, efficiently, and in line with regulations — all while delivering exceptional service and support.
- Perform scheduled service, diagnostics, and repairs on commercial gas systems (CDGA1/CIGA1)
- Respond to breakdowns, identifying faults quickly and implementing effective solutions
- Commission new gas fired systems in food processing environments
- Complete service documentation, safety checks, and compliance reports
- Communicate clearly with customers about findings, solutions, and preventive maintenance
- Collaborate with internal teams and contractors to ensure seamless service delivery

You’re a practical, hands-on engineer who thrives on autonomy and accountability. Safety is second nature to you, and you take pride in delivering high-quality technical work.
- CDGA1 and/or CIGA1 Gas Safe certification (essential)
- Proven experience servicing or commissioning commercial gas systems
- Strong troubleshooting skills and a customer-focused mindset
- Comfortable working independently in the field
- Full UK driving licence
- Willingness to travel across the UK and Ireland with overnight stays as well as occasional international travel
- Domestic Gas Safe Candidates with relevant experience will be considered
