We are currently seeking a hardworking, reliable and experienced Groundscare Machinery Service Engineer to join a well-established business. This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking for a secure, long-term career with genuine opportunities for development and progression within a supportive and growing team.
The Role: Working both within the workshop and on customer sites, you will be responsible for servicing, maintaining and repairing a wide range of Groundscare Machinery and equipment including:
- Walk Behind Machinery
- Ride-On Equipment
- Commercial Mowers
- Compact Tractors
- Utility Vehicles
- Other Groundscare Equipment
Key Responsibilities:
- Carry out diagnostics, servicing and repairs on Groundscare Machinery equipment
- Complete pre-delivery inspections and set-up on new and used machinery
- Complete all relevant job cards, reports and digital timesheets accurately
- Maintain a clean, tidy and organised workshop/van
- Diagnose faults confidently and efficiently
- Follow company Health & Safety procedures at all times
- Attend manufacturer and industry training when required
- Support and mentor apprentices within the team
Skills & Experience Required:
- Previous experience working on Groundscare, Agricultural, Plant or similar machinery
- Strong diagnostic and fault-finding ability
- Good IT skills and confidence using digital systems
- Full clean driving licence
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Excellent customer service and communication skills
- Experience with John Deere, Stihl or similar products would be advantageous
