I am currently seeking a hardworking, experienced and qualified Agricultural Machinery Landbased Technician. This is an exciting and highly rewarding opportunity to work with a wide range of premium agricultural machinery and leading industry technology within a well-established and supportive business.

The successful candidate will be responsible for diagnosing, servicing and repairing agricultural machinery both within the workshop and on customer sites. This role offers variety, technical development and the opportunity to work with modern agricultural equipment and manufacturer technologies.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform diagnostics, servicing and repairs on agricultural machinery and equipment
  • Carry out pre-delivery inspections and set-up on new and used machinery
  • Complete all job-related administration including job cards, DTAC reports and timesheets
  • Maintain a clean, tidy and organised workstation
  • Follow company Health & Safety procedures at all times
  • Attend manufacturer training programmes to achieve Certified Technician status
  • Mentor and support apprentices within the workshop
  • Work confidently with modern industry technologies, diagnostic systems and IT equipment
  • Support overtime requirements when required to meet customer needs

Skills & Experience Required:

  • Minimum 5 years experience within the agricultural machinery industry
  • Relevant engineering or landbased qualification preferred
  • Strong diagnostic and fault-finding skills
  • Excellent customer service and communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Full driving licence essential
  • Experience with John Deere machinery would be highly advantageous
  • Confident using IT systems and diagnostic tools
