The Role

You’ll be responsible for

  • Managing a designated plant area and engineering systems
  • Developing maintenance and asset management strategies
  • Leading engineering projects and major outages
  • Managing engineering contracts and contractor performance
  • Overseeing operational and capital budgets
  • Driving compliance, safety and operational excellence
  • Building strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders

  • Power Generation (CCGT, CHP, Energy from Waste or similar)
  • Electrical, Controls & Instrumentation Engineering
  • Heavy Industrial Process Plants
  • Asset Management & Reliability
  • Maintenance Strategy Development
  • Project & Outage Management
  • SAP Maintenance Systems
  • Contract & Commercial Management
  • Ideal Background
  • Degree or HNC/HND in Electrical or EC&I Engineering
  • Strong technical leadership within a process or power generation environment
  • Experience managing high-value engineering projects
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
  • Passion for continuous improvement and engineering excellence
