As a Retail Shift Manager at Lidl, you will help us maintain our high standards day after day. From motivating your team to taking responsibility for the shop floor, you will keep our store running like clockwork, thriving in a fast-paced and challenging environment. You will also reap the rewards of your hard work, enjoying the responsibility to prove yourself as a leader and find your footing for future success. In return, we will give you a competitive hourly pay rate based on equal opportunity and pay structures, plus an extra £2.00 per hour for work during bank holidays and £3.50 per hour for night shifts, as well as a generous benefits package designed to support your well-being and life outside of Lidl.
What You Will Do:
- Motivate and support your team, learning from our Leadership and Company Principles
- Swiftly solve problems and delegate tasks
- Create an environment where your colleagues can succeed alongside you
- Manage operations within your Store and colleagues in the absence of the Store Manager and Deputy Store Manager
- Handle freshness, cash processes, inventory and stock management to make sure shifts run smoothly
- Give our customers the very best experience every time they visit your store
