The Role: JBM’s interim and fractional division is our fastest-growing business unit, and this hire is central to taking it to the next phase of growth. The core of the role is delivery — and delivery done at pace. Interim and fractional mandates move fast, and you’ll need to thrive in that environment.

This is a role for someone who wants to operate with real autonomy — running searches end-to-end, owning candidate relationships, and moving mandates forward without needing to be managed. You'll work closely alongside Zach, who brings a background spanning VC, executive search, and high-growth scaleups. As the business grows, so does your remit: contributing commercially, strategically, and shaping how the division develops.

What You’ll Do:

  • Run interim and fractional searches end-to-end — from building targeted longlists to closing placements.
  • Engage the market in a way that’s genuinely compelling — not just identifying candidates, but becoming the person they trust when it’s time to make a move.
  • Manage multiple live mandates concurrently, keeping every process moving without dropping the ball.
  • Own the candidate experience from first outreach to placement — relationships are our biggest asset.
  • Build proactive candidate pools ahead of mandates landing.
  • Support BD preparation and VC/PE outreach — research, list-building, market intelligence.
  • Contribute to the flywheel: the better we deliver, the more we win.

What We’re Looking For:

  • Experience in executive or senior recruitment — retained search, contingent, or in-house talent at a high-growth company.
  • A track record of running processes independently and delivering results.
  • Someone who moves quickly, thinks on their feet, and takes ownership.
  • Sharp communicator — credible with senior candidates and comfortable holding their own in client-facing moments.
  • Commercially aware and motivated by growth — yours and the business’s.
  • Energised by building something, not just executing within something already built.
