The Role: Foundry Operative
- Plant Operation
- Monitor the pouring of molten metal into moulds and other forms to create castings with the help of ladles and hand-operated equipment.
- Carefully track the temperature gauges and colour, heating units, furnace flames, etc. to melt metal as per requirements.
- Adjust extra metal and skim slag in ingots or equipment with strainers.
