Orr client is a leader in architectural signage, interior branding, large format print installations, and retail merchandising. With a newly expanded, state-of-the-art facility in Leeds, there is an opportunity for someone to join a newly created role to lead the estimating function.
The Role
- This is a high-influence position reporting to the Sales Director, you’ll ultimately be defining the commercial approach for tenders ranging from £10k to £150k+.
- You’ll translate architectural drawings into reality, working with everything from bespoke metalwork and specialist illumination to high-end sustainable substrates.
- Working alongside the sales team finding the "smart way" to build complex frameworks that save the client money while protecting margins.
- Responsibility for the pricing system, with an opportunity to create a new estimating framework for the business.
The Person
- Ideally spent a number of years in the world of signage, displays, or architectural metalwork.
- You can read a complex architectural drawing.
- You’re detail-obsessed, commercially astute.
Package
- Negotiable base salary, given role is newly created.
- 21 days holiday + bank holidays.
