We are seeking a dynamic professional with strong interpersonal and leadership skills to join a large and fast-growing global logistics provider in their UK Air & Sea Freight market.

About the Role
As a Senior Business Development Manager, you will be at the forefront of the company growth strategy, focusing on building strong client relationships and expanding our Transatlantic trade lane. You will drive business development initiatives, identify market trends, and craft tailored logistics solutions to meet client needs. Your leadership and strategic insights will be key in achieving sales targets and enhancing market presence. Hybrid/Remote working available.

Responsibilities:

  • Consult with customers for logistics needs, focusing on Transatlantic import/export.
  • Generate new business opportunities and identify market trends.
  • Develop and maintain revenue and GP forecasts.
  • Achieve sales targets and manage weekly activities and sales pipeline.
  • Lead sales presentations and manage new-client implementations.

Qualifications:

  • 5+ years in International Freight Sales with a proven track record.
  • Familiar with Transatlantic and Asia to UK trade lanes.
  • Experience in engaging customers trading with the USA.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and CRM systems.
  • Self-motivated, team player with a hunter mindset.
