Overview
Quality Assurance Manager β Packaging role at a fast-paced packaging manufacturing site in North Lincolnshire. Reports to the Operations Director and leads quality systems and compliance, driving continuous improvement, audits, CAPA processes, and the Quality team.
Responsibilities
- Oversee the Quality Management System (QMS) and ensure compliance with regulatory standards (ISO 9001, BRC, GMP, HACCP).
- Lead, mentor, and develop the Quality team; coordinate cross-functional collaboration to drive quality excellence.
- Plan, manage internal and external audits; identify non-conformities and drive corrective and preventive actions (CAPA).
- Monitor key quality metrics, participate in process improvements, and support manufacturing operations to meet product quality objectives.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in quality management within a manufacturing environment, with a track record of driving quality improvements.
- Strong leadership and cross-functional collaboration skills.
- Knowledge of regulatory standards including ISO 9001, BRC, GMP, and HACCP.
- Experience with QMS, audits, and CAPA processes; ability to lead a quality team at a fast-paced site.
