JBAndrews is working with a fast-growing diagnostics enablement platform that partners with laboratory diagnostics organisations to help them bring tests to market faster, operate compliantly, and scale without building everything in-house. The goal of the business is to democratise access to biology by removing the operational and compliance barriers that slow diagnostics down. The platform enables diagnostics companies to develop, launch, and scale molecular tests faster and more cost-effectively ā from early biomarker programmes through to national-scale screening.
The company provides an end-to-end, modular platform spanning sample collection, kitting, logistics, accredited lab operations, digital interfaces, and postāmarket service delivery, supporting diagnostics organisations across the full lifecycle from preāmarket development to realāworld deployment.
We are seeking a senior commercial leader to own and grow strategic partnerships with laboratory diagnostics companies globally. This role sits at the intersection of diagnostics sales, operational design, and regulatory credibility. You will be responsible for selling outsourced services, infrastructure, and technology into diagnostics organisations ā helping them externalise complex, highārisk elements of the diagnostic lifecycle including sample collection, kitting, logistics, qualityācontrolled operations, and postāmarket service delivery.
This is not a traditional alliances or BD role. Success comes from credibility with quality, regulatory, operations, and procurement stakeholders, and the ability to translate that credibility into longāterm, commercially meaningful partnerships.
Laboratory diagnostics companies are under increasing pressure to:
- Operate compliantly across multiple geographies
- Reduce internal cost and operational complexity
In this role, you will:
- Own commercial relationships with diagnostics companies as customers and longāterm partners
- Disarm compliance, quality, and operational concerns around outsourcing
- Design and sell integrated service models combining operations, kitting, digital infrastructure, and regulatory readiness
- Help clients move from preāmarket development into realāworld, scalable diagnostic services
You will work closely with internal quality, regulatory, operations, and technology teams to ensure what is sold is robust, compliant, and scalable.
Key Responsibilities
- Own and grow commercial partnerships with laboratory diagnostics companies across the US and Europe
- Sell endātoāend diagnostic services including sample collection, kitting, logistics, lab operations, digital layers, and postāmarket services
- Lead senior commercial discussions with quality, regulatory, operations, procurement, and technical stakeholders
- Translate complex compliance and operational requirements into clear, confidenceābuilding commercial propositions
- Structure and negotiate longāterm partnership agreements balancing compliance, scalability, cost, and margin
- Act as the commercial voice of operational reality, ensuring delivery aligns with what is sold
- Identify recurring outsourcing and infrastructure needs and feed them back into platform and service design
Qualifications
- 10+ years' experience in diagnostics, laboratory services, medical devices, or diagnostic infrastructure
- Proven experience selling diagnostic services, solutions, or infrastructure (rather than instruments or consumables alone)
- Credibility in complianceācritical environments, with exposure to quality, regulatory, operations, or service delivery
- Experience selling to or working closely with QA/RA, operations, and procurement stakeholders
- Understanding of both preāmarket and postāmarket diagnostics environments, including LDTs and realāworld service delivery
