We are partnered with a large, well-established European contract logistics provider with a rapidly expanding UK footprint and a strong reputation for operating complex, high-volume warehousing solutions across consumer, FMCG, retail, fashion and e-commerce markets.

As part of continued growth, the business is appointing a UK Contracts Manager to take ownership of several strategic customer relationships across multiple UK sites, representing c.£100m in revenue.

This is a senior customer leadership role that sits between commercial ownership and operational delivery. The Contracts Manager acts as the primary point of contact between the customer and the warehouse operations, ensuring that service performance, operational execution, commercial alignment and continuous improvement remain tightly connected.

Rather than managing contracts from a distance, this role is embedded in the operation. You will work closely with site leadership and General Managers while maintaining senior-level relationships with customers — translating operational reality into meaningful customer dialogue, and ensuring customer expectations are delivered consistently at scale.

It is a role suited to someone comfortable moving between the warehouse floor and senior stakeholder discussions, with the credibility to challenge, problem-solve and shape long-term customer partnerships.

Key Responsibilities
  • End-to-end ownership of multiple strategic customer contracts across the UK
  • Acting as the senior interface between customers and warehouse operations
  • Oversight of service delivery, KPIs, SLAs and operational performance
  • Leading customer communication across operational, tactical and strategic topics
  • Driving continuous improvement initiatives with site leadership teams
  • Supporting peak planning, change management and operational development
  • Ensuring commercial commitments align with operational capability
  • Representing the customer internally and the operation externally
Candidate Profile

This role will suit an experienced contract logistics professional who is credible both commercially and operationally. You are likely to have:

  • Experience within contract logistics / warehousing / 3PL environments
  • Managed enterprise-level customers within consumer, FMCG, retail, fashion or e-commerce sectors
  • Operated within large, live, high-volume warehouse operations

You will bring:

  • Strong customer and senior stakeholder management capability
  • Operational understanding and the confidence to challenge constructively
  • Experience managing service performance and complex SLAs
  • A calm, solutions-focused approach in pressured environments
  • The ability to bridge commercial expectations with operational reality
