Do you have the skills and experience to develop our Environmental Assessment services, working closely with other disciplines to deliver a range of exciting projects across the UK? We are seeking a highly motivated, dynamic, organised and conscientious Discipline Lead who demonstrates a passion and enthusiasm for business development to expand and diversify our work across Environmental Impact Assessment and Strategic Environment Assessment.
Our Discipline Leads are strategic leaders delivering technical excellence, innovation, best practice, business development, professional development and growth. You will have a key role in influencing and shaping the strategic direction of JBA in leading society’s pursuit for resilience to climate change from strategic policy to project delivery.
The role: You will be at the forefront of diversifying and expanding our Environmental Impact Assessment and Strategic Environmental Assessment services for existing and new clients by identifying and pursuing new sector or client opportunities aligned with our company-wide Service Plan. Many of our projects relate to our success across the flood and coastal sectors, but we have an expanding and diversifying portfolio of projects notably in the regulated water and energy sectors, which we are seeking to grow further. We are also experiencing significant growth in Strategic Environmental Assessment and Sustainability Appraisals.
You will be expected to manage and prepare winning tenders and framework submissions. You will lead on shaping and delivering best practice in delivery and championing technical and professional development through thought leadership, research and innovation and staff development. We hold the ISEP EIA Quality Mark accreditation which you will maintain and develop. Working closely with our existing and new clients you will build strong, collaborative partnerships.
