Since 1978, Hopkins has been a business built on family values that has grown from strength to strength. Currently, we have over 200 people working across the business. Salary: Competitive (PAYE)
Hours: 45 Total Hours per week, plus work pattern
Contract: Permanent
Location: Solent Region (within 1 hour - 1.5 hour commute)

We are currently hiring electricians at all levels to join our growing team. Whether you're newly qualified or bring years of hands-on experience, we have opportunities available across a range of electrical installation projects. We're looking for individuals with a strong work ethic, a keen eye for detail, and a solid understanding of electrical systems in both commercial and domestic environments.
Responsibilities:
- Diagnosing and troubleshooting electrical issues.
- Undertaking fault finding works and repairs.
- Identify and undertake electrical work as directed.
- Ensuring compliance with safety regulations and quality standards.
- Providing exceptional customer service and maintaining positive client relationships.
About You:
We are looking for a diverse range of applicants who have a real passion for the M&E industry, perhaps wanting to change careers or kick start their journey with us as one of the largest M&E businesses in the area. Here are some of the qualities we are looking for in the right person to join our team:
- Proven experience as an electrician.
- Relevant certifications or licenses (where applicable).
- Strong technical skills and knowledge of plumbing or electrical systems.
- Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team.
- Commitment to safety and adherence to industry best practices.
- Driving Licence (preferably).
- An in-date SKILLcard with ECS as a minimum.
