This role is fully remote, with applicants welcome from the UK, Ireland, or the United States. Highly analytical and strategic Senior Data Manager reporting to the Senior Director, Head of the Procurement Centre of Excellence. The role blends operational execution with data‑driven strategy and insight. As a key data intelligence leader, the role will shape our approach to business reporting, analytics and performance improvement – especially within procurement or finance contexts. The Senior Data Manager is responsible for establishing a consistent reporting drumbeat, identifying opportunities for continuous improvement and delivering strategic recommendations to leadership.
Responsibilities and Deliverables

- Champion Continuous Improvement: Lead initiatives to enhance reporting capabilities and ensure the organization remains agile and responsive to emerging trends and market shifts.
- Configure and maintain system settings to align with business needs, including customizing workflows and approval processes to improve efficiency and effectiveness.
- Create compelling content, including dashboards, reports, and user guides, that support business objectives and enhance user engagement. Develop content strategies that ensure clear communication of data insights and system functionalities.
- Identify opportunities for process improvements, implementing system enhancements that align with procurement goals and drive operational efficiency.
- Work closely with stakeholders to refine the platform, ensuring it meets strategic needs and supports seamless integration with internal processes.
- Monitor system updates and new features, integrating them into content strategies to maximize the platform’s capabilities and benefits.
Required Knowledge, Skills, And Abilities
- Proven track‑record of informing business stakeholders on data trends and insights to drive decision‑making.
- Demonstrated ability to quickly learn new systems and tools – eagerness to continue improving technical skills and capabilities.
- Extensive relevant Finance or Procurement experience with progressive responsibility.
- Substantial experience using Coupa or similar Source‑to‑Pay platform.
- Solid experience in Business Analytics that directly aligns with the specific responsibilities for this position.
- Working experience with industry standard data management tools, e.g., Power BI, Smart Sheets, SAP Amazon Redshift.
- Expert proficiency in MS Office Suite (Excel, Word, and PowerPoint) and/or other design programs/tools.
- Strong process and time management skills – ability to prioritize in a fast‑paced, complex environment with conflicting demands.
- Ability to work effectively under deadlines and manage multiple projects with evolving requirements.
- Self‑starter with strong customer service, teamwork, and organizational skills.
- Works independently as well as collaboratively in cross‑functional teams.
Required/Preferred Education And Licenses
- Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) in supply chain management, accounting, finance, or a related business discipline.
- Computer literacy with proficiency in Microsoft Office, SAP & Coupa – experience an advantage.
