We’re looking for a Head Server to join our talented team at Jazz Cafe. You’ll be the face of our dining experience—welcoming guests, taking orders with confidence and ensuring service is smooth, friendly, and efficient throughout the show. You’ll thrive in a fast-paced, music-fuelled environment and play a key part in delivering a world-class guest experience.
What You’ll Do:
- Greet guests with a friendly, genuine welcome
- Take and relay orders clearly and efficiently
- Recommend food and drink with confidence
- Run your section smoothly, even on busy nights
- Build positive relationships with guests and your team
What We’re Looking For:
- At least two years of experience as a Server, Waiter, or Waitress in a high-volume restaurant environment.
- Experience in following detailed service steps, including allergen procedures, while managing a busy section.
- A strong desire to grow—our Head Waiters are promoted from within, and our Columbo Academy programme is designed to help our team become future leaders.
What to Expect:
- Competitive Pay: £12.50 per hour plus tronc (total package up to £14.50 per hour). Hourly wages paid every two weeks on a Friday and tronc paid on the last Friday of the month.
