As an HR Benefits Intern, you will have the opportunity to gain hands‑on experience in benefits administration, leave management, wellness programming, and HR operations within a global organization. You will be a valued individual contributor to the team and will work alongside the HR Benefits & Wellness Manager and Director of Total Rewards to support programs and processes that serve a diverse employee population.
What You Will Do
- Assist with day‑to‑day administration of the benefits process, including enrollment, changes, and ongoing maintenance.
- Support new hire benefits onboarding and benefits orientation activities, ensuring timely and accurate benefit elections.
- Support leave of absence coordination and administration throughout the leave lifecycle, including documentation review and benefits continuation.
- Prepare, review, and organize benefits‑related forms, elections, and administrative materials to ensure accuracy and completeness.
- Support benefits communications and materials, including drafting employee communications, articles, guides, and reference documents.
- Document benefits and leave processes by creating and maintaining workflows, checklists, and reference materials, and assist with tracking benefits‑related requests and documentation to support timely administration.
- Assist with basic benefits‑related data entry and maintenance in HR systems, under the guidance of the HR Benefits team.
- Support coordination with benefits vendors by gathering information, tracking requests, and organizing materials.
- Support wellness initiatives and employee engagement activities, including planning, coordination, and communications.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
What We Are Looking For
- Currently enrolled college student who has completed at least one year of study at an accredited university or college, or a recent graduate in Human Resources, Business, or a related field.
- Demonstrated interest in Human Resources, including areas such as benefits administration, leave management, process documentation, or employee communications.
- Strong attention to detail, with a desire to learn and grow in a professional HR environment.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively in a team‑oriented setting.
- Ability to adapt to a fast‑paced, dynamic environment and manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
- Proven time management, organizational, and prioritization skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office or Google Workspace is a plus.

Must have completed at least one year of their academic program by the start of the internship. Must be able to commit to an extended internship program beginning before the summer session and continuing through the Summer Internship Experience. Must be able to commit to the full program, working onsite Monday through Thursday and remotely on Fridays, for a total of 40 hours per week. Must have authorization to work in the United States without the need for sponsorship, now or in the future. Must be able to reside or commute to the internship location for the duration of the program. Must successfully pass a background check as part of the hiring process.
