Jaywing are looking for bright, self-motivated individuals looking to progress their careers in Organic Search with a team of professionals. This exciting opportunity will enable a relatively new SEO the opportunity to work with some of the UK’s biggest brands in a forward-thinking, award-winning search agency.

The ideal candidate will have existing knowledge of on-page optimisation (technical & content optimisation) and be looking to further their career by gaining advanced and strategic knowledge through working closely with more experienced members of the team. Key responsibilities:
  • Supporting SEO Analysts and Managers in carrying out architecture, content, and technical site audits
  • Keyword research & targeting
  • Carrying out work in line with client SEO strategies, including on-site and earned media actions, with the aid of more senior team members
  • Review and adjusting client tactics based on performance
  • Clear reporting of results and measurable KPI’s in place for every client
  • Continually developing your understanding of the search landscape and adjusting activity to improve client performance
  • Work with a team, both in person and remotely, to achieve results
Skills required:
  • Existing SEO knowledge and experience, 1 year+ and can include experience gained via your education
  • Initiative, motivation and drive to succeed
  • Ability to work under own direction and as part of a team
  • Time management skills and close adherence to deadlines
  • Effective communication, presentation and writing ability
  • Data literacy & the ability to analyse data to inform strategies and interpret results, including AI-assisted analysis
  • Some knowledge of beginner level SEO, including on-page technical SEO, keyword research skills, content optimisation skills, awareness and some ability with Google Analytics and Search Console, understanding of emerging AI platforms such as LLMs
Skills desired:
  • Relevant experience in the industry in either a marketing agency, or in-house, or via your education
  • Awareness and experience of core insight tools such as ScreamingFrog, SEM Rush, Ahrefs etc.
  • Basic / some knowledge of Python, HTML, CSS considered valuable
  • Social media / influencer / content marketing awareness
  • Experience and confidence using Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, PowerPoint, and Word
