Are you looking to take your first steps into a career in PR? We’re looking for a PR & Social Executive who can craft compelling content, spot trends and support integrated campaigns across our growing client base. This role focuses largely on PR and authority building for our range of consumer brands. You’ll be drafting press releases, outreaching to journalists, and keeping a keen eye on what’s trending in the media to get our clients in the headlines. You’ll also occasionally use copywriting skills to support the team across social media and written content. You’ll bring a solid understanding of PR activity helping to build brand awareness, secure brilliant coverage and drive engagement through creative and strategic thinking.
Key Responsibilities
- Support PR campaigns through content creation, data analysis, media outreach and trend‑led storytelling
- Identify reactive opportunities and cultural trends to enhance client visibility
- Support and execute social and PR strategies aligned with client objectives
- Create engaging, high‑performing content informed by platform best practices
- Monitor performance using reporting, PR measurement and social analytics tools providing actionable insights
- Support media relations activity, including drafting press content, building media lists and liaising with journalists
- Collaborate with internal teams to brief and refine creative output
- Maintain strong relationships with clients and stakeholders
- Support and help grow organic social media accounts across platforms including TikTok, Instagram, X, Facebook and YouTube
Experience Sought
- Strong understanding of PR fundamentals and a passion for identifying and discussing cultural events and news
- Organic social experience is beneficial, particularly working on/with social media platforms (TikTok, Instagram, X, Facebook, YouTube)
- Experience developing and reporting on social/PR campaigns and strategies
- Ability to grow channels and increase engagement in line with strategic goals
- A natural trend‑spotter with a strong awareness of memes, culture, and media opportunities
- Experience using reporting, scheduling, and analytics tools
- Confidence briefing and providing feedback on creative content
- Experience working with clients or internal stakeholders
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Experience writing for online channels and platforms, ideally press and web copy, or social channels where applicable is beneficial
- Good analytical ability and attention to detail
- Proficiency in Excel, Word, PowerPoint (or equivalent tools)
- Solid foundation in English and numeracy
Desirable (but not necessary) proficiencies:
- Experience with both B2C and B2B markets
