Jays Logistics, a company based in Highbridge Somerset, requires additional LGV CE Class 1 drivers to assist with their busy daily pallet network contracts and daily haulage work. We deliver palletised goods to multiple locations within Somerset, South West and South Wales, most work is varied and done by either tail lift or forklift on curtain sided vehicles.
Start times vary from 0500 - 1000 Monday to Friday with some Saturdays expected if required at overtime. Guaranteed 48 hours per week paid including paid breaks. Overtime available, Saturdays minimum of 5 hours paid. 28 days holiday including bank holidays. Pension and company uniform provided.
No more than 3 points on licence. Applicants must be in possession of a full C Licence (Class 1 CE), Digi Card & DCPC. Ideal candidates will have LGV experience at Class 1 CE driving. We have our own internal training courses which include driver CPC. Job progression to further driving classes and opportunities are available after a probation period. Work references will be required.
