The Role
We are looking for compassionate, committed, and resilient Residential Support Workers to join our growing team. You will play a vital role in supporting children and young people in their day-to-day lives, helping to create a stable, caring, and positive home environment where they can thrive emotionally, socially, and developmentally.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality care and support to children and young people
- Build positive, trusting relationships with young people
- Support children with daily routines, education, activities, and appointments
- Promote independence, emotional wellbeing, and positive behaviour
- Maintain accurate records and reports in line with safeguarding procedures
- Work collaboratively with colleagues, families, and external professionals
- Ensure the home remains a safe, nurturing, and therapeutic environment
What We're Looking For
- A caring and empathetic nature
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Ability to remain calm and resilient in challenging situations
- Passion for improving outcomes for children and young people
- Previous experience in residential childcare or care settings is desirable but not essential
- Full UK driving licence preferred
