Key Responsibilities:
- Undertake the structural design and analysis of temporary and/or permanent bridge structures using industry-recognised methods and software.
- Contribute to the planning, development, and execution of bridge projects across a variety of sectors, including highways, rail, and pedestrian infrastructure.
- Work collaboratively within multidisciplinary teams including construction, civil, and geotechnical engineers.
- Produce technical drawings, specifications, and design reports in accordance with client and regulatory standards.
- Support value engineering, risk management, and project delivery strategies.
Candidate Requirements:
- Degree qualified in Civil or Structural Engineering.
- Chartered or working towards chartered status (ICE, IStructE or equivalent).
- Proven experience in bridge design – either in temporary works (such as falsework, formwork, and launching systems) or permanent structures (including steel, concrete, or composite solutions).
- Proficient in design and analysis software such as MIDAS, LUSAS, Tekla, AutoCAD, or similar.
- Strong interpersonal, organisational, and communication skills.
