Our client is looking to recruit a Quality Technician to join their manufacturing facility near Alfreton. This role plays a key part in maintaining product quality across multiple manufacturing departments. The successful candidate will work closely with production and quality teams to ensure compliance with quality plans, identify non-conformances, and support continuous improvement initiatives.
Responsibilities
- Conduct quality checks on products currently being manufactured across all departments, including Extrusion, Butt Fusion and assembly.
- Follow standard work instructions to inspect each item in line with the defined Quality Plan.
- Escalate any non-conformances immediately to the QA Lab Team Leader.
- Complete all required quality documentation accurately and in a timely manner.
- Raise Non-Conformance Material Reports.
- Raise SSR cards when risks or near misses are identified.
- Support manufacturing teams with investigations and corrective actions where required.
Qualifications
- Previous experience of working with Quality Assurance (ideally within manufacturing).
- Attention to detail.
- Excellent communication skills.
This role is Monday-Friday, 38 hours per week.
