We are currently seeking a Senior Nurse to join our team on a full-time, permanent basis, offering leadership, clinical expertise, and the highest standards of care to our residents.

As a Senior Nurse, you will take a lead role in ensuring the delivery of high-quality, compassionate care to our residents. You will be responsible for managing and mentoring a team of nurses and care assistants, overseeing clinical practice, and ensuring that care plans are followed accurately. This role will allow you to use your nursing expertise and leadership skills to improve the lives of our residents while supporting the ongoing development of your team.

  • Lead and supervise the nursing team to ensure exceptional care is delivered consistently.
  • Take charge of clinical governance, ensuring compliance with care standards, policies, and regulations.
  • Manage the development and implementation of individualized care plans for residents.
  • Administer medications, treatments, and clinical procedures in accordance with regulatory guidelines.
  • Provide clinical leadership, mentoring, and support to nursing and care staff.
  • Monitor residents’ health conditions, conduct assessments, and escalate concerns where necessary.
  • Oversee the day-to-day management of care delivery, ensuring the safety, comfort, and dignity of all residents.
  • Ensure accurate, timely, and complete documentation of care provided, in line with legal and organizational requirements.
  • Work closely with the management team to improve care processes and achieve high CQC ratings.
  • Maintain open, effective communication with residents, families, and the wider healthcare team.

Requirements:

  • Registered Nurse (RN) with a valid NMC PIN number.
  • Previous experience in a senior nursing role, ideally within a care home or healthcare setting.
  • In-depth knowledge of clinical practices and care regulations.
  • Ability to assess and manage clinical needs and risks effectively.
  • Passionate about providing high-quality care and improving residents' lives.
