About the Home:
Set in the picturesque market town of Bedlington, it offers the perfect blend of modern comfort and traditional charm. Our home is spread over three thoughtfully designed floors, catering to both General Residential and Dementia Residential needs. With standard and premium rooms—including accommodations for couples—all with en-suites, TVs, and stunning valley views, we provide an exceptional living experience for our residents. Residents enjoy access to our in-home Cinema Room, Dining Room, Library, Corner Shop, Piano Bar, and vibrant Social Spaces, alongside open communal areas perfect for family visits. Our dedicated chefs and activities team ensure that each day is full of nourishment, engagement, and joy.
The Role:
As Home Manager, you will be responsible for the overall management, leadership, and direction of the home. Your focus will be on ensuring the highest standards of care, regulatory compliance, team development, and resident satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage all aspects of the residential care home
- Ensure compliance with CQC regulations and internal policies
- Promote a person-centred, safe, and caring environment
- Motivate and support a multidisciplinary team to deliver excellence
- Build strong relationships with residents, families, staff, and local services
- Drive continuous improvement and high occupancy levels
What We’re Looking For:
- Proven experience as a Registered or Residential Care Home Manager
- Strong knowledge of CQC requirements and care standards
- Excellent leadership, organisational and interpersonal skills
- A passion for delivering exceptional care in a vibrant and supportive setting
- NVQ Level 5 in Health & Social Care Management (or working towards)
