Our client is seeking experienced and compassionate Registered Nurses to join their state-of-the-art care home in Newcastle. The Role

As a Registered Nurse for our client, you\'ll provide high-quality, person-centred nursing care that goes beyond clinical excellence. You\'ll be instrumental in creating a safe, welcoming community where residents maintain their dignity, independence, and quality of life.

Your Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver exceptional person-centred nursing care that exceeds RCN and NMC standards
  • Lead and coordinate resident care plans in collaboration with the wider care team
  • Conduct comprehensive clinical assessments and monitor resident wellbeing
  • Manage medication administration safely and in accordance with policies and procedures
  • Provide clinical supervision and mentoring to care staff, promoting best practices
  • Build trusting relationships with residents and their families, ensuring excellent communication
  • Support residents to maintain independence and achieve their personal care goals
  • Maintain accurate clinical records and ensure compliance with CQC regulations
  • Liaise with GPs, healthcare professionals, and external agencies to coordinate care
  • Take management responsibility for shifts as directed by the Manager or Deputy

What We\'re Looking For

Essential Requirements

  • Valid NMC registration (RGN, RMN, or RNLD)
  • Minimum 6 months recent UK nursing experience
  • Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
  • Ability to prioritise effectively and manage time in a fast-paced environment
  • Commitment to person-centred care and resident dignity
  • Right to work in the United Kingdom
  • Satisfactory DBS check and professional references

Desirable

  • Previous experience in elderly care or care home settings
  • Experience with complex clinical needs and end-of-life care
  • Full UK driving licence (beneficial for community liaison)
