The Role
As a Registered Nurse for our client, you\'ll provide high-quality, person-centred nursing care that goes beyond clinical excellence. You\'ll be instrumental in creating a safe, welcoming community where residents maintain their dignity, independence, and quality of life.
Your Key Responsibilities
- Deliver exceptional person-centred nursing care that exceeds RCN and NMC standards
- Lead and coordinate resident care plans in collaboration with the wider care team
- Conduct comprehensive clinical assessments and monitor resident wellbeing
- Manage medication administration safely and in accordance with policies and procedures
- Provide clinical supervision and mentoring to care staff, promoting best practices
- Build trusting relationships with residents and their families, ensuring excellent communication
- Support residents to maintain independence and achieve their personal care goals
- Maintain accurate clinical records and ensure compliance with CQC regulations
- Liaise with GPs, healthcare professionals, and external agencies to coordinate care
- Take management responsibility for shifts as directed by the Manager or Deputy
What We\'re Looking For
Essential Requirements
- Valid NMC registration (RGN, RMN, or RNLD)
- Minimum 6 months recent UK nursing experience
- Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
- Ability to prioritise effectively and manage time in a fast-paced environment
- Commitment to person-centred care and resident dignity
- Right to work in the United Kingdom
- Satisfactory DBS check and professional references
Desirable
- Previous experience in elderly care or care home settings
- Experience with complex clinical needs and end-of-life care
- Full UK driving licence (beneficial for community liaison)
